Salty Gruel Wasteland is a Ghost Forest area bordering:
- Salty Marinated Marsh from the West.
- And Unami Meadows to the North.
Most of the Bugsnax there are based on Spoiled or bad-tasting foods since the area is based on a ghost forest. A new sauce called Salt is found exclusively here. After His sub was crashed by Fritaytan Ariven got stuck in Salty Gruel Wasteland

Description[]
It's much like Marinated marsh. Covered with trees and consisting of small islands separated by many lakes and rivers. Though most plants here are dead, there are only two hiding bushes in the entire area. Though they're a wilted orange, most bugsnax hide in borrows instead. The trees are a grey-brown color and the ground is just rock and dirt. there are three salt plants scattered around the area. most in the north of the area. In the center of the area is one, barely alive Ranch Dressing plant that mostly likely isn't native there.
