Preying Theathantis is a legendary bugsnak resembling assorted movie snacks and a mantis shrimp. It is pretzel stick limbs, a pepperoni pizza head, a French fry cluster thorax, a popcorn bucket abdomen, and a chicken nugget raptorial appendages. It is found at the end of ???'s side quest, in Drooling Depths.
Strategy[]
Summoning[]
This legendary can be found in an underwater cave that's blocked until ??? breaks it using her aqua jet. Then when you guys swim up you'll find Preying Theathantis sleeping in the cave. Then It'll wake up, smack the floor and cause an earthquake. This will knock ??? into the water, and leave you to catch it.
Fight[]
For the first stage it will simply walk around, and occasionally smack the ground with its arms. When it does the whole caves shakes, the first time that happens it will drop large stone hands in the sides of the cave. Your friend tool here will be the Sauce Fisher. Throw the sauce fisher at its head, then it will get ticked off and tackle you. Make it charge at you, though go under a stone hand. Then while it's charging get out of the way, then use the sauce fisher on the hand to make it drop and grab parts of the Preying Theathantis. This will weaken it. When it gets back up the hand will open, and release two 
fryders, three pre-puffed 
popticks, and a pink poptick.
For the second stage it'll still walk around, but now it will punch you if you come close. It will also shake to send salt and pepperoni projectiles at you. Now you need to load the Sauce Fisher with either Hot Sauce or Buffalo Sauce, This will burn its eyes and cause it to blindly crash into you. Now you can move out of the way and activate the hand again. This will cause it to get immobilized for a little while. When it gets back up, the hand will open. This will release three fryders, five pre-puffed popticks, three pink popticks, three 
Blue Popticks, three 
sweet fryders, and a 
Pretzopter.
It will now go into the final and third stage. It will now be significantly harder, if it hits you with its fists it will knock you out. Then you'll see ??? wake you up and say:

??? - "Are you okay? Sorry for dragging you into this, if you want we can try again." |
Then you'll have to start the boss battle all over again. It will have an additional attack now, it will now shake the ground to break all traps and stun you for three seconds. To defeat it you need to piss it off by getting something attack its face five times. The snak grappler or sauce fisher won't work anymore since it's now used to them. You can launch rocks or popticks or get the snax in the cave to attack it. Then it will crash into you. Dodge and trigger the stone hand. This time nothing will be in it, instead it will make the Preying Theathantis explode into every single poptick and fryder variant. You'll find it immobilized on the ground, pick it up and feed it to ???.
When you come back into the cave there will be two pre-puffed popticks, a 
Mr. Poptick, two fryders, a Pretzopter, and two 
Nugbugs.

Preying Theathantis has a pepperoni pizza slice with stuffed crust as a head. It has eyes on the sides of its head, thus giving it monocular vision. It has a neck made of assorted fries, and pretzel stick limbs. It has a popcorn bucket abdomen, with popcorn of all different colors in it. It also has chicken nugget raptorial appendages or "clubs." They have ten pretzel stick legs, eight for walking and the other two functioning as arms. There's cheese dripping from it's head, along with a single piece of pepperoni.

When defeated Preying Theathantis will look much smaller, its head will lack pepperoni. It will lack legs limbs and its neck, since they exploded into an assorted bunch of snax. Its popcorn bag will also be empty.
