Preying Escantis is a Preying Picantis variant found in Freeze-Dried Woods.

Preying Escantis are very aggressive, and will attack you or any Snax that go near them. They don't freeze you if they hit you though, but they can if you touch them. They love Chocolate, Peanut Butter, Strawberry Syrup, White Chocolate, Caramel, and Buttercream Frosting which can lure them into a hot situation. They utterly despise Ice Cream Spuddies, and will attack any they see.
How to Catch[]
To snatch one, lure it to a Spicy Snak like a S'more Taffiggina, then have it stunned by another aggressive Bugsnak. Then, snatch it in your Bug Net.
If broken apart, they will break apart into a 2 Creamy Tacroaches, Cheesecake Incherrito and a Sweepoof.

Preying Escantis’ name comes from the Spanish word for Frosty, which is “Escarchada”/“Escarchado” mixed with “Mantis”, hence the name Escantis. Preying Escantis was originally going to be called Sugary Picantis.
