But like do any of you guys know what Bugsnax was about?

Sorry if that sounded rude, but do you guys? Like, the whole thing was basically a metaphor for addiction. But honestly I’m not sure if all of you have played the game.

But, there’s other plotpoints that are disregarded.

[PART 1: Sequels]

Whenever I see one of the three “Bugsnax 2”s, and the one “Bugsnax 3” I wonder why would they return to snaktooth? The island basically exploded, and I’m not sure there even are any Bugsnax left.

I mean, in Ursaring’s Bugsnax 2 the reason kinda makes sense, with them going to get lizbert. But wouldn’t they have escaped? It seems like they managed to unbugsnak in the credits. But wouldn’t they also make a raft? There’s plenty of wood on the island, and trees. (Sorry this is more of a Nitpick) But I guess there could be something halting them from doing that.

In The Cavity, it just completely rips off ursaring’s reason to come back. And also there is a sudden Semi-Dues Ex Machina of floofty just making a invention that Bugsnax can’t take over your body.

Bugsnax 3 makes no lore sense and randomly makes a Collab-snak a huge lore character.

[PART 2: Murderous/Hazardous/Dangerous Attribute]

Yeah I just wanted to mention this, but the idea of Bugsnax killing you/sending you back to snaxburg is insane. Also just feels like a “OOOOOOOH LOOKK ITS DEAAADLIER THAAAN AGGRESSSIVEEE”.

[PART 3: Areas]

I just wanted to talk about this, but some areas seem like they can actually fit (Frosted Beach), as others… are the opposite of that.

Like, when I first saw Retro Expanse I was really confused, like, is it a town? A landscape? Is it even purple? All I know about it is that it is a floating island, I think. But yeah it feels way too gimmicky and has a tone that just doesn’t really match the rest of Bugsnax.

Also The Void, oh god, The Void. It’s so weird and doesn’t match with Bugsnax in ways I cannot describe.

[PART 4: Fan-Grumps]

Each one I have my own gripes with. Also all of them are introduced like “oh yeah they have been here all along” or “they were hiding on snaktooth”.

Also, John and Oswald. Come on guys, they aren’t even grumpuses. What the hell are they doing here?

Also the All-Consuming One is honestly hot garbage. Doesn’t look good, barely is a grumpus, and is way too gory for Bugsnax.
